Sourced from the Landcross Estate vineyard McLaren Vale, this wine displays a luscious mouthfeel of spicy oak and ripe plum flavours with soft lingering tannins.

An ideal meal companion to hearty meat, stew or cheese dishes.

Ideal for early consumption or cellar for 5 years.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS: 2004 growing season experienced bursts of warm and cool weather, coupled with excellent winter rainfall. This has produced a long ripening period. The vintage weather has been perfect for producing excellent intensely flavoured fruit.

FRUIT: Estate grown and sourced from the Landcross Vineyard of McLaren Vale type "terra rossa" soil. Harvested in the cool of the day & crushed immediately after harvest to capture the flavours.

WINEMAKING: Destemmer roller crusher, controlled temperature fermentation at 20-25 degrees Celsius until almost dry, the cap wet & submerged by regular pumping over. Maturation with medium toast French oak to integrate the flavours.

COLOUR: deep red with purple

NOSE: lifted vanillin oak & ripe plummy fruit.

PALATE: complex luscious mouthfeel of spicy oak & ripe plum flavours with a soft integrated tannin finish.

POTENTIAL: drink now or cellar for 3-5 yrs

將葡萄汁和固態五分離開。存放于法國的橡木桶中成熟，等其達到最佳飲用氣味、口感。
