Opus One酒庄在纳帕谷成立只有短短的三十余年，怎么看这在葡萄酒世界都属于是初出茅庐级别。但在1981年第一届纳帕谷葡萄酒拍卖会上，Opus One的单箱葡萄酒卖到了 24,000，这记录至今未被打破。要注意，Opus One的第一瓶酒是在1979年问世的。如果你知道Opus One的创始人，你就能明白这是为什么了。

Opus One是纳帕谷的Robert Mondavi家族与法国Chateau Mouton Rothschild（木桐酒庄）的Philippe de Rothschild男爵合作的结晶，是一款新旧世界酿酒技术的结合体。Opus一词来自于拉丁文，这是为了能让美国人和法国人一眼就能明白它的意思，Opus翻译成中文是“作品”，有人称Opus one为作品一号。

由于Opus One华丽的背景，这使得它一出世就走向了高级市场，现在已是美国顶级的葡萄酒庄之一了。可惜由于Rothschild和Mondavi的相继逝世，世人再也没有机会品尝到两位大师合作的Opus Two了。dsgsdgsdfdgh

在 Opus One，酿酒的目的只有一个：制造卓越的葡萄酒。在这一点上绝无妥协。Opus One 的每一串葡萄都使用手工采摘，并且精心筛选，然后再不锈钢发酵罐中发酵（不锈钢是葡萄酒发酵完美的材料，它能为发酵过程提供了一个凉爽而温和的开始）。几周之后，将发酵之后的葡萄汁灌入法国新橡木桶之中。在木桶中存放大约一年半以后，葡萄酒将被装瓶。Opus One 将在酒瓶里继续酝酿，大约装瓶一年半之后才开始销售。从收获葡萄开始到葡萄酒投入市场大约间隔 3 年。dsgsdgsdfdghdsgsdgsdfdghdsgsdgsdfdghdsgsdgsdfdgh

2007年标：2007年在九月的一波酷热后，随之而来的是降雨以及霜冻的威胁。葡萄只能在夜间采摘和挑选，酿造出的葡萄酒也不同往年，带有芳香的黑醋栗、肉豆蔻、可乐、黑巧克力和林间空地的气味。圆润、柔和且精巧和谐，将柔和与强烈的单宁无缝地混合在一起，形成一种中性口味。该年标产品可以毫无困难地陈酿数十年。
